Cold winters arvo...dropped in for afternoon tea..very busy everybody was inside..waited a few minutes for a spare table..once seated ordered a long black coffee...nice n hot...the chai latte was spicy and not too sweet...we shared a berry cheesecake...tasty n fresh...lots of desserts to choose from..highly recommended

Very good day, look at the maple leaf to eat an English afternoon tea, Dandenong&#39;s Miss Marple&#39;s Tea Room is very 👍 If you come to Melbourne, Australia to play the last introduced Pie and this English afternoon tea must go, English muffin homemade jam and waffle desserts are even better! Tea is also very special! In short, you will be there once and want to go to the foot!

Took my son up for lunch on a weekday. Plenty of parking in local carpark, quite roads to cross. Cafe was super quiet, obviously. Staff were friendly, efficient and accurate. My scones were lovely. The pot of tea would have been perfect with that pot of hot water..... My son was impressed with the BRAVO range of soft drinks. His Sassy burger was huge. He loved that it was a proper bread roll, soft on top. I was disappointed the caramelized onions appeared precooked and re heated and the burger patty wasn&#39;t made on site. I will be back. It&#39;s great to see an independent cafe

Are frequent visitors to Ripe, their Lindt hot chocolates are sublime, however, most recent visit is the first time in 15 years that I&#39;ve been disappointed. Service was very slow &amp; haphazard and food was undercooked, with another dish cold. Luckily we&#39;d enjoyed our hot chocolates in the wait for the food, almost made up for food. In fairness, it was an extremely busy Sunday morning - brunch time. Lady next to us on communal table not quite as patient with slow service as us &amp; disgusted with her omelette which was burnt on the bottom &amp; cold. We will go back, but will choose a less busy time.

A lovely setting with a nice menu. Pleasant service and the children enjoyed toasted sandwhiches and cakes but were disappointed with no milkshakes. Hot chocolates were a salvation. One of our cakes was quite badly burnt on the bottom and we couldn&#39;t eat it. We let staff know when we went to pay but still paid full price. A bit disappointing. Probably would not go back.
